A Day to Remember

A Day to Remember is this post-hardcore band that I quite frankly can never seem to get enough of, I enjoy their sound, and after looking at the band a little it looks to me like they are just a few friends who started a band and it got lucky and took off like a rocket.

I haven’t looked into the bands history or anything but if that was the case I just like the thought of it, a few friends making money doing what they loved to do. Makes me want my band to get that lucky.

Actually that’s funny to me, I say my band when we haven’t had a single practice yet >,< I’m supposed to play bass but we need new strings for the bass since the ones on it are wrecked and till we change them I can’t learn how to play a bass. I know how to decently play guitar so it shouldn’t be to hard to learn but still I want to get things going so that we don’t end up abandoning the idea since we actually have all the people we need for a band and all of us are good friends who mesh well.

I guess that this little dream is something every teenager goes through, its probably why the anime BECK:Mongolian Chop Squad is so popular as well, since deep down we all want to be rockstars with our best friends right there with us.

I know that its just a silly dream that pry will never happen but I’d still like to get the band going so we can have some fun with it.

Speaking of bands Blue Octobers new album is releasing here in a few days. It’s been so hard to wait for it over this last week but unfortunately I know that even when it does come out I’ve got to wait till I have the money to buy it *T~T*  meh maybe I’ll get lucky and one of my friends will let me borrow it if they get it.

I suppose I’ve done enough blabbering for now *:b*
